Your Initial Consultation With Cohen/Winters
Your first visit will be an unpressured, face-to-face meeting directly with your surgeon, not an assistant or a resident. Appointments are scheduled carefully to allow ample time for patients to ask Dr. Cohen or Dr. Winters whatever is on their mind; to learn about the procedure and listen to what the surgeons have to say.
This meeting also gives the surgeon the chance to learn about the patient as an individual: their particular concerns, objectives and needs. If a patient wants more information, Cohen/Winters has materials to give out to help patients learn more about the procedure and make an informed decision. Patients are always encouraged to come back for a second visit prior to surgery, and questions by phone or email are always entertained.
